At pickupmydonation.com, we connect donors like you with organizations that pick up your gently used items. We don’t pick up your items, but we connect you with organizations in Los Angeles that will pick up your donation. In this city, we partner with two pick up providers:
- If your items qualify for a free donation pick up, Union Rescue Mission Thrift Stores will handle it.
- If your items don’t qualify for free pick up, College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving can pick your items up for a fee.
How does it work?
Pickupmydonation.com connects donors like you, with nonprofits in your area. Our online donation form lets you quickly create a donation pick up request which gets sent to nonprofits located in Los Angeles, CA. Once we’ve connected you with a nonprofit, they’ll contact you to confirm your request and schedule a pick up.
In some cases in Los Angeles, our Free Partners won’t be able to pick up your donation items. When that happens, you’ll have the option of choosing our priority pick up partner, College Hunks Hauling & Moving (you may have seen their signs around town). Whenever they receive your priority requests, their national scheduling center usually contacts you within thirty minutes to an hour after you submit your request. Then they’ll give you a discounted quote for pick up based on the items you listed.
